Ihave profound pleasure to make a few remarks on this third strategic plan of Thika Garrison Secondary School.

We have developed this strategic plan 2022-2026 in full realization that in the previous strategic plans some goals were not fully met. This current plan seeks to embrace a multi-prolonged approach to the school management where all the stakeholders are fully involved and work towards the same goals. The plan also aims to assist the institution to focus its energy to assess and adjust its direction in response to emerging educational trends such as performance contracting, in order to realize national educational goals.

The mission and the vision of the school are bold and our goals are clear and achievable. I believe that the school has the resources and opportunities that will help us advance our mission to achieve our vision.  As the school Principal, I have been able to observe our staff’s hard work, dedication and willingness to take up new challenges and responsibilities in order to equip the students with necessary skills.

I commend the former principal Mrs. Elizabeth Nyambura Mung’ara for the firm foundation that she laid with her team. I am encouraged by how far the stakeholders have come over to support the school in terms of collective deliberations on school activities.

As the Board of Management (B.O.M), we have pulled together to make significant decisions which have continued to make a positive impact in our institution.I would like to acknowledge the tireless effort of the team that assisted in the development of this strategic plan.

I am an avid believer that what we will get from this strategic plan will be a result of all our efforts. I therefore urge all the stakeholders to dedicate all their energy towards the realization of the goals stipulated in the strategic plan. Your input is invaluable and no one is insignificant.
